GITPA Annual General Meeting

The 2023 GITPA Annual General Meeting (AGM) cum Annual Dinner will be held on 17 May 2023 (Wednesday) at the Hong Kong Medical Association (HKMA) at Wanchai.  We will share our work in the year 2022-23, and the new GITPA ExCo for year 2023-24 will also be elected.

We are most delighted to have your support in the AGM as your participation is instrumental to the success of GITPA.  If you cannot attend the meeting, please kindly send us the e-proxy form to appoint a representative to vote for you.  Details will be sent out soon through email.  We would like to thank all members for your continual support and we look forward to seeing you!

AP Grade Board Game Interest Group

A number of AP grade colleagues have formed a board game interest group, which organises events from time to time, and forms an online community to share new and interesting board games.  Recently, they have orgainised a gathering and played games in a party room for a whole day.  If you would like to play together in spare time and meet friends who are board game lovers, welcome to contact Raymond YIP at 3509 7190 or Ted WONG at 2123 6001 for details.

GITPA Newsletter – Members’ Message Activity

We are preparing for this year’s GITPA Newsletter.  The theme of this issue is “Road to Normalcy”, which marks the end of the three-year pandemic and also symbolizes the starting point for a new journey. This time, we specially set up a members’ message activity, hoping to provide a platform for everyone to share their wishes and expectations for a return to normal life after the pandemic.  We will integrate the collected comments into a word cloud and publish it in the coming issue of GITPA Newsletter.  You are welcome to leave a message on Google Form before March 15, 2023 (Wednesday).  20 participants will be selected to receive small prizes (GITPA one-year membership or a set of GITPA cutlery).

GITPA Board Game

The GITPA新春開GAME開好年was successfully held on 7 January 2023 (Saturday).

We are excited to share with you that 37 GITPA members, and their friends and family, had a great time in the very first event of 2023. Participants were divided into groups to play different board games. They enjoyed a joyful afternoon together.

After the event, some of the participants initiated a board game interest group. We sincerely invite colleagues who are board game lovers to join the AP Grade Board Game WhatsApp group to meet friends and play together in their spare time. GITPA 秋季遠足

The GITPA’s autumn hiking activity was successfully held on 26 November 2022 (Saturday).

The trail we picked was the famous “Lung Fu Shan”. We gathered at The University of Hong Kong and started the hiking with a joyful atmosphere. The first spot we visited was the“Pinewood Battery”(松林炮台). The battery was built in 1905 and severely damaged during the“Battle of Hong Kong” in 1941. Now it is a Grade II conservation. Another check-point of the trail was “Lugard Road”, which was named after Sir Frederick Lugard, the Governor of Hong Kong from 1907 to 1912. The view of the city at the Lugard Road Lookout was stunning and spectacular.

GITPA War Game

Due to the pandemic, it has been a while since our last group event.  We are excited to share with you that 21 GITPA members, and their friends and family, had a great time in the very first group event of the year – 室內啫喱彈War Game on 15 October 2022 (Saturday).

Participants were divided into teams for a series of battles and missions. From the pictures, you can feel their vibrant vibe and team spirit.

We wish to take this opportunity to thank members and friends of GITPA for your support and participation.  Your support is our biggest motivation.
