GITPA Executive Committee 2026/27
We are pleased to announce that the GITPA Executive Committee (ExCo) for 2026/27 has been duly elected at the Annual General Meeting held on 7 May 2026. As of early May 2026, GITPA has approximately 880 members, representing a significant proportion of the AP Grade. We sincerely thank all members and colleagues for your continued support and active participation.
GITPA continues to maintain a strong and active membership base, reflecting the ongoing engagement and support of colleagues. Building on the work of the past year and valuable feedback from members, we will continue to focus on the following key areas in the coming year:
1. Representing Member Interests & Engaging with Management
- Gather insights from members via diverse channels to drive meaningful action;
- Interact and liaise with management on matters such as recruitment, new AP Grade posts in B/Ds, promotions, staff activities, communication, mentorship programme, and posting guideline; and
- Thrive through sustainable career development for the AP Grade.
2. Supporting Work-Life Balance & Member Benefits
- Promote team spirit and a healthy work-life balance by organising engaging activities and events that strengthen connections among members; and
- Arrange member offers and explore a diverse range of special benefits for members’ well-being.
Looking ahead, the AP Grade will continue to play an important role in supporting the Government’s digital transformation, particularly in light of developments such as the establishment of the Digital Policy Office and the increasing adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. While members serve in a wide range of roles across different Bureaux and Departments, we remain united by our shared professional identity and commitment to public service.
Together, we will continue to strengthen our profession, uphold our values, and embrace new opportunities. The GITPA ExCo remains committed to serving members and enhancing support to meet evolving needs.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to our retired members for their continued support and connection with GITPA, and we look forward to keeping them engaged in our activities.
We welcome members’ views and continued engagement, and look forward to your participation in our upcoming activities and initiatives. Please feel free to reach out to us (gitpa@gitpa.org.hk).
