GITPA 秋季遠足

The GITPA’s autumn hiking activity was successfully held on 26 November 2022 (Saturday).

The trail we picked was the famous “Lung Fu Shan”. We gathered at The University of Hong Kong and started the hiking with a joyful atmosphere. The first spot we visited was the“Pinewood Battery”(松林炮台). The battery was built in 1905 and severely damaged during the“Battle of Hong Kong” in 1941. Now it is a Grade II conservation. Another check-point of the trail was “Lugard Road”, which was named after Sir Frederick Lugard, the Governor of Hong Kong from 1907 to 1912. The view of the city at the Lugard Road Lookout was stunning and spectacular.
